Plants are established single growth plants, with 1" - 2" rosettes, in 2" pots ready for planting. NOTE: Plants were summered outside. There are some blemishes and nibble marks on the leaves. Hardy between zones 3 and 8.
This orchid is native to eastern North America. North to the Great Lakes, west to the Mississippi River, and south to northern Georgia and northern South Carolina. It's common name is Rattlesnake Orchid in reference to the heavily white veined silvery green leaves. In late summer it produces a 10" - 12" tall inflorescences that ends in a head of white flowers.
Plants can quickly form small colonies in garden settings.
